Home for the Holidays:

2020 Holiday Tips

This year our holidays might look a little different from what we are used to. If you are staying home for the holidays and not sure what to do, we have you covered! Check out our list of ideas to make your 2020 holiday season just as special as the previous years. ï»¿

1. Make Baking Cookies An Event

Instead of having just one person bake the cookies, get everyone in involved! This is a great opportunity for bonding with everyone in your home. You can even turn it into a competition, with everyone creating different holiday themed shapes and seeing which one comes out the best!

2. Have a big breakfast

Since there will be less holiday parties and traveling this year, you and your families will have more time together this holiday season. If you are often rushing around, slow down. Take your time this year! Cook a big breakfast for everyone in your household with all the works. Even trying to make something new, like a French toast casserole or a cinnamon roll casserole

3. Talk a walk around your neighborhood

Bundle up and take a stroll around your neighborhood! If you wait until the sun sets, you’ll be able to see any holiday lights that your neighbors have put up!

4. Have a photoshoot with your pets

Take some of your holiday decorations and try to get your pet to pose with them. Here’s a tip, hold a treat right above your phone or camera to get your pet to look at you!

5. Play in the snow!

Take some time in the day to go outside and play! Build a snowman, throw some snowballs, and make a snow angel. If you’re feeling adventurous you could even build an igloo.

We hope that this list helps make your holiday season at home a little more cheerful. Don’t forget to share your posts with us by using #FaberBuildersHomeHoliday
